The international competition of organists named after Mikael Tariverdiev is a special page in cooperation between Hamburg and Kaliningrad. The first qualifying round is held in Hamburg, the semi-final and the final in Kaliningrad. Cultural exchange for us is of great importance, it revives and enriches the mutual dialogue. Numerous concerts, exhibitions and other events are devoted to this date - from the Jazz Festival on the Elbe (Eldjazz), concerts - in the Church of St. Jacob and other churches, the Museum of Arts and Crafts, Elbfilarmonia to the Orgel Open Air festival (outdoor organ) and mono charity concert Late-Night-Orgelkonzert. All this demonstrates the diversity of the king of tools and makes 2019 special - the Year of the Authority in Gamberg.
