DECEMBER PARTIES IN THE CATHEDRAL

From December 13, 2018 to January 13, 2019, the Decembrist Evenings Festival will be held in the Cathedral. The six programs of the festival are united by the general concept of the interpenetration of the Word and Music, which gives rise to new meanings and new forms of presentation in the creative process.

Three events of the “Decembrist Evenings” are devoted to major anniversaries related to literature: the exhibition “Moscow is not Berlin” from the M.A. Museum. Bulgakov and the performance by Dmitry Minchenko “The History of Touch. Waltz for Margarita "(December 13) - the 50th anniversary of the publication of" The Masters and Margarita "in Germany, the program by Natalia Arinbasarova, Lada Labzina and HirokoInoue" Az and Me "(December 28) - the 90th anniversary of Chingiz Aitmatov, concert of the famous bass-profundo Vladimir Miller and the Kaliningrad Regional Orchestra of Russian Folk Instruments “We are Brothers” (January 13) - the 150th anniversary of the birth of Maxim Gorky and the 80th anniversary of the death of Fyodor Chaliapin.

Three other concerts of the “Decembrist Evenings” are truly stellar: Yevgeny Dyatlov, reading excerpts from the Divine Comedy by Dante Alighieri (December 16), and Svetlana Kryuchkova, reading Marina Tsvetaeva (January 3), all accompanied by an organ, as well as a favorite music by Alexei Rybnikov performed by the Kaliningrad Symphony Orchestra (December 22).
